Cherthala: Cherthala witnessed a vibrant and spirited celebra3on as Friends Taekwondo
Academy hosted the grand inaugura3on of its Anniversary and Vaca3on Classes. The event
saw overwhelming public par3cipa3on and was inaugurated by Sri. P. Prasad, Hon’ble
Minister for Agriculture, Government of Kerala.
A major highlight of the event was the Self-Defense Demonstra3on by the Shaurya Team –
Star Command, opera3ng under the District Administra3on of Alappuzha. Their display of
skill, precision, and discipline cap3vated the audience and underscored the importance of
self-defense training in today’s world.
Mr. Sudheesh Chandra Bose, Patron of Friends Taekwondo Academy, warmly welcomed the
dignitaries, students, parents, and other aMendees. During the event, Minister Sri. P. Prasad
officially launched the Academy’s Anniversary Logo and the Stern Training Program
Brochure, symbolizing the academy’s commitment to structured and goal-oriented
training.Prominent dignitaries such as Mr. Arun G., Inspector of Police, Cherthala, and Mr.
Gibin Babu, CEO of Gray Aiders and Deputy Commander of the Delta Task Force, also graced
the occasion and conveyed their hearSelt gree3ngs and support.
The program further included the distribu3on of cer3ficates, mementos, and scholarships,
honoring the outstanding achievements and contribu3ons of students and supporters of the
academy. Mr. Ameer Vayalar, Interna3onal Taekwondo Coach, expressed his hearSelt
gra3tude to the honorable guests, fellow trainers, students, and parents for their con3nued
support and presence at the event. He reiterated the academy’s mission to empower the
youth through mar3al arts and character-building programs.This memorable celebra3on
marks a significant milestone in the academy’s journey, reaffirming its dedica3on to fostering
